Terms & Conditions – AVIRIS

Effective date: October 2025 (Global Master Version)

1. Scope

These Terms apply to AVIRIS (website, web app, and software for Windows/macOS/Android/iOS), including account, licensing, payments, and support. If you purchase through an app store (e.g., Apple App Store / Google Play), the store’s terms also apply and may prevail in case of conflict.

2. Service

AVIRIS is a cybersecurity software suite to detect and mitigate digital threats. Available features depend on the plan (e.g., Free Version or paid license). Current product information (features, prices, supported systems) is published at www.aviris.com.

3. Contract formation & account

Product listings and pricing are not a binding offer but an invitation to place an order. A contract is concluded when AI Coding GmbH accepts the order by providing, activating, or delivering a license key. Certain functions may require a user account; you must keep your login credentials confidential.

4. License & permitted use

After full payment, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to use AVIRIS for the agreed term and number of devices. Licenses are generally device-bound; depending on plan and technical limitations, a device can be unlinked and the license transferred.

• No modification, decompilation, or reverse engineering (unless permitted by law).
• No circumvention of technical protection measures; do not share license keys with third parties.
• No renting, leasing, or commercial distribution/availability of AVIRIS without written permission.
• No use of AVIRIS (or parts of it) to develop competing products.
• No illegal use.

5. Prices, payment & invoicing

Prices shown at checkout apply (including VAT where applicable). Payments are handled via available payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay) under their terms. Invoices are provided electronically (by email and/or in the user account).

6. Term, renewal & cancellation

Subscriptions/licenses run for the selected term and may renew automatically if renewal is enabled. You can cancel via the AVIRIS account area or, for store purchases, through the respective store settings. The right to terminate for cause remains unaffected.

7. Updates & support

During the contract term, AI Coding GmbH provides necessary security and functionality updates. Support: support@aviris.com or www.aviris.com/support.

8. Customer obligations

• Use AVIRIS lawfully and in compliance with these Terms and your license limits.
• Maintain regular backups of your own data.
• Report issues with helpful details (steps, screenshots, logs).

9. Data protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy: www.aviris.com/privacy.

10. Warranty

Applicable statutory warranty rules for digital products apply. Minor deviations that do not materially affect usability are not defects. For free services, limitations may apply to the extent permitted by law.

11. Liability

Liability is unlimited for injury to life, body, or health, and in cases of intent or gross negligence. In cases of slight negligence, liability may be limited to foreseeable, typical damages arising from the breach of essential contractual obligations (to the extent permitted by law).

12. Intellectual property

AVIRIS (code, design, texts, trademarks, logos) is protected. Copying, distributing, or modifying it without written permission is prohibited.

13. Consumer right of withdrawal

Consumers may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. For digital content/services, the right may expire once performance begins after your express consent and acknowledgment of the loss of the withdrawal right. Contact: support@aviris.com.
